About these guides
Every guide in this series starts from a provider’s own Critical Information Summary or equivalent regulatory disclosure, then works through what the numbers mean once discounts expire, fees apply, and real evening congestion kicks in. We do not sell plans and we take no commissions, so recommendations lean on arithmetic rather than partnerships.
Pricing in each article carries its source date for exactly this reason: providers revise rates regularly, and an undated price table is close to useless six months later. When a figure cannot be verified from official documentation, the guides say so instead of guessing.
Reading alongside these, the measurement tools help you hold any provider to account: run the internet speed test when your connection activates and again during busy hours, check latency with the ping tester, or compare provider performance in our report archive.
